The Brooklyn Book Festival is an annual book fair and all-out literary celebration held in New York City’s best borough. It was founded in 2006 by the Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz with the mission of showcasing the unique literary voice of BK, and to celebrate the many authors who call this area home. Check out this year’s festival, which will once again offer an array of author readings, discussions, low-cost programs, parties, and more. Among the 300-plus authors who will participate, you will find producers of all genres including fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, and children’s literature.
