Natalie Lomeli

Natalie Lomeli received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, located in Portland OR. Originally from Southern California, Lomeli moved east to New York City shortly after her graduation in May 2011. Since locating to New York she has played an active role in the emerging art community in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn. She is a member of the Gowanus Swim Society, an art collective who presented an installation at Governor’s Island Art Fair in September of 2014. She has also painted murals for Rudy’s Barbershop of Portland OR and The Ace Hotel New York. Lomeli is an alumni of the Vermont Studio Center Residency and the Brooklyn Art Space Residency program, as well the Anderson Ranch Art Center. Her work has been featured in a group exhibition at The Luggage Store Gallery in San Francisco, a solo exhibition at the Higgins Gallery in Portland, OR and numerous shows at Trestle Gallery in Brooklyn, NY..
