Head to BAM (one of our favorite cultural venues in Brooklyn) for Non Solus, a stunning dance performance of acrobatics from Hungary’s Recirquel Company. The two dancers, with no net below, whirl and twirl midair as two fragmented souls “yearning to be made whole.” This marks the BAM debut for the Budapest company, which blends circus and dance. Choreographer Bence Vági’s troupe is reviving Europe’s tradition of great circuses but making them entirely 21st century.
Non Solus is set to electronic organ music playing Rachmaninoff and Bach.
Book here to stay with Nu Hotel when traveling to Brooklyn. Learn more about the performance at BAM’s Non Solus page.
