With so many fantastic options within walking distance of our hotel, we decided to lay out a number of options for an ideal day of eating in Brooklyn.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guests of NU Hotel can check out each and every one of these spots without having to get in a car or on the subway, an amazing example of how dense our city is with stellar restaurants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BREAKFAST &amp; BRUNCH<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bar Tabac<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Bar Tabac is a popular French bistro in Cobble Hill that has an intimate atmosphere sometimes complemented by live music. The brunch menu here is one of the best in the area with a number of highlights. The Bar Tabac Bloody Mary is on point, and you can also get mimosas, bellinis, and more. For apps, the baked Burgundy snails are a must. You can also get a brunch prix-fixe with Mediterranean baked eggs, avocado toast, and more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bartabacny.com\/menu\/brunch\/\">Bar Tabac<\/a>. Brooklyn, NY&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Shelsky\u2019s of Brooklyn&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Shelsky\u2019s is a favorite food spot of many local Brooklyn residents and it\u2019s one of the area&#8217;s most acclaimed Jewish delis. Come here for affordable, classic NYC-style egg-and-cheese sandwiches on rolls, as well as bagel sandwiches stuffed with lox, pickled herring, and more. Monday through Friday from noon to 3 pm, you can save on their famous chili basil shrimp and squid dish, as well as other recommended favorites like the crispy tilapia in chili sauce and fresh green chili shrimp.
