This November, one of the best wine and artisanal food tasting events in New York city returns. Check out this guide to the Brooklyn Crush Wine and Artisanal Food Festival to discover why it’s a treat you won’t want to miss.

The Event

The biannual event is presented by New York Wine Events, who says they’ll turn Brooklyn’s Industry City into an East Coast Napa Valley for the day-long affair. Broken up into an afternoon session, and a separate evening session, the day will consist of samplings and tastings of wines from around the world, and dishes from Brooklyn’s best chefs.

General Admission

The General Admission ticket at the 2018 Fall Brooklyn Crush Festival gets you access to the event’s best offerings. Tasting glasses for the wines will be available, and special deals on bottles and cases from New York State wineries will also be available.

The Eats

Tables covered with artisanal meats, cheeses, and bite-size dishes will stand throughout the event space. Brooklyn-based offerings will also feature sausages, pate, local cheeses, international dishes, vegan offerings, desserts, and more.

The Vino

The Wine program will come from Vintry Fine Wines who’ve said they’ll bring a mix of bold reds, bright, crisp whites, as well as some sparkling options. Featuring varietals from wine regions both historic and blossoming, you can taste samples from here in New York as well as France, South Africa, Oregon, and New Zealand among other countries.

The Space

Brooklyn Crush will take place at the spacious Industry City warehouse space on the waterfront in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Home to Brooklyn Flea and a ton of other great local happenings, this complex is well worth seeing on your Brooklyn vacation, and what better excuse to go than Brooklyn Crush?
